Il negozio Luca della Robbia dal 1904, prende il nome da Luca della Robbia, noto scultore fiorentino, che combinò la tecnica della ceramica invetriata con la scultura monumentale. Il negozio unico nel suo genere, fa parte dei negozi storici fiorentini. Tutti i prodotti sono per uso ornamentale unici ed esclusivi.
L'obiettivo dello stesso è di mantenere la tradizione delle maioliche locali, delle madonne in stile robbiano e dell'arte ceramica che si è tramandata di generazione in generazione sino ad oggi.
Established since 1904, The Luca della Robbia shop since 1904 takes its name from Luca della Robbia, a well-known Florentine sculptor, who combined the glazed ceramic technique and the with monumental sculpture. The store is unique in its kind and it is part of the historic Florentine shops. All of our products are for exclusive ornamental use only.
It has the aim to maintain the tradition of local majolica, Robbian-style madonnas and the ceramic art technique that has been handed down from generation to generation until today.

MADONNAS
MADONNAS
To make our madonnas the clay is pressed with the fingers inside plaster casts and after removal it must be finished by hand, one by one, since once it is removed from the forms it has many imperfections. Afterwards the madonnas are left to dry and then baked for the first time (biscuits) in a kiln at over 1000 ° C. Next, we proceed with colouring of the madonna and for the second time we bake it in the kiln.

Il nostro negozio è uno tra i negozi storici fiorentini, riconosciuto dagli esercizi storici. E' tradizionale luogo di sosta del turismo fiorentino, risiede nel cuore di Firenze a pochi passi dal Duomo, di fronte al Museo Nazionale del Bargello e di fianco alla Badia Fiorentina.Tutti i nostri prodotti sono dipinti a mano. Predilige ceramiche con decori tipici fiorentini e toscani, rinascimentali e riproduzioni robbiane. Il negozio nasce alla fine dell'Ottocento ma ufficialmente assume i suoi connotati, riconoscibili dal 1904. Il negozio vanta l'onore di ospitare da tre generazioni la stessa famiglia a gestire il negozio.
Anche se l'alluvione del 1966 ha spazzando via parte del vecchio arredo rimane un negozio molto caratteristico.
Our shop is one of the historical Florentine shops, recognized by historical establishments. It is a traditional resting place for Florentine tourism, residing in the heart of Florence a few steps from the Duomo, in front of the Bargello National Museum and next to the Badia Fiorentina. All our products are hand-painted. The store has ceramics with typical Florentine and Tuscan motifs, Renaissance and Robbian reproductions. The shop was born at the end of the 19th century but officially assumed its connotations, recognizable since 1904. The shop has the honor of hosting the same family for three generations to manage the shop. Although the flood of 1966 destroyed part of the old furniture and decor, it remains a very characteristic shop.
